The official opening of the Marlborough Group’s new office building, New Marlborough House, in Bolton has been covered by the Bolton News.
The Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Akhtar Zaman, opened the building on Monday 28th November. The new offices are next door to the Marlborough Group’s headquarters, Marlborough House, in Chorley New Road.
The new building, which has taken 18 months to refurbish and extend, will accommodate roughly half of the nearly 200 people the Marlborough Group employs in Bolton. The remainder will be next door in Marlborough House.
The work on the new office building has included the construction of a two-storey rear extension, which is linked to the rest of New Marlborough House via a floor-to-ceiling glass walkway.
The business that has grown into the Marlborough Group was first established in Bolton more than 35 years ago. Today the group has offices in London, Dublin, Bristol, Lichfield, and Peterborough.
The group’s investment business, Marlborough, manages a range of 19 investment funds on behalf of more than 200,000 clients. The expertise of Marlborough’s fund managers has earned a succession of investment industry awards.
