Marlborough Global SmallCap fund managers Tobias Bucks and Simon Wood, who have more than 35 years’ combined investment experience, invest in a portfolio of 50 to 80 high-quality small-cap companies selected from developed economies around the world. They look for the next generation of emerging global titans, when the growth potential of these businesses has not yet been widely recognised and they are still on highly attractive valuations.

Tobias and Simon identify companies with high-calibre management teams who are expanding into new geographies and bringing new products and services to market. In addition, they look for strong ESG credentials.

Supported by experienced investment analyst Joseph Kim, the pair use both quantitative and qualitative analysis, alongside a disciplined risk-management process, with the aim of achieving consistent risk-controlled outperformance.
